Want some new ideas for your festive entertaining? Cooking for a vegetarian or vegan visitor this Christmas? Come along and put a new twist on classic ingredients.
The day is a mixture of demonstration and practical hands on cookery, with plenty of time to sample the results.
We will make a selection of simple starters and desserts which can be prepared ahead of time. We will then turn our attention to our main course dishes, including a savoury Pithivier, Chestnut and Red pepper strudel, filo money bags, and traditional nut roast. These will be served with all the trimmings including rich homemade gravy.
Time saving tips will be given, along with ideas for planning your festive feasts.
